The Warriors got a solid outing from sophomore left-hander Reese Mondina, who pitched three strong innings against Kealakehe in a 13-2 five-inning TKO game on Wednesday.
In three innings, Mondina allowed an unearned run on two hits and a walk and struck out three. Dillon-Jon Gabriel finished with two innings of one-run relief.
Nate Minami, Trayden Tamiya and Shaun Kurosawa had two RBIs each to power the Warriors (10-1). Minami and Tamiya had two hits each while Kurosawa had three hits.
Pulama Louis batted 2 for 3 for the Waveriders (1-9), who’ll be the No. 4 seed in the four-team BIIF playoffs, which start Friday, April 15.
Kalani Piltz took the loss. Markus Degrate, Dennison Joaquin, and Tehvyn Isabel also pitched.
